Each sheet of wrapping paper is an original hand pulled silkscreen print and is printed in Sarah Jane's particular brand colour to co-ordinate with other packaging.

Each sale of her contemporary studio jewellery can be wrapped at point of sale, to complete the perfect gift.

'Over Hills and Dales' new wrapping paper design

I have just completed this new design for wrapping paper

It could be printed in any colour but blues and greens seem most appropriate for the landscape.

The repeat in the background pattern is quite small to make it suitable for wrapping around small presentation boxes.

Fish Paper Commission

A couple of weeks ago I received a surprise email from Cornwall from a potential customer seeking some of my 'fish wrapping paper'.

 Usually I print my paper in multiple colour-ways, resulting with about six sheets ever being exactly the same.This creates lots of choice but a big problem when someone wants several matching sheets. Luckily, although I had completed a long print run just before christmas I had not stripped the screens - printing just a few sheets of paper would have been un-economical in time and materials. After a quick further exchange of emails we were able to establish the particular colour combination needed and I was quickly able to reproduce what was needed.

The paper was used to line a traditional dresser and now provides the perfect background to a collection of Cornishware with its distinctive banded blue and white design within a kitchen with a fish theme.

What a great way to use my paper- it looks fabulous.

Grass Paper

 

Every year we have an amazing selection on grasses growing on our land. The shapes, sizes and colours give a variety of textures when combined on this paper. By overprinting layers the idea of a profusion of grasses is achieved without using the intricate shapes in each one.

This year I have printed onto three colours of paper- the green gives a softness to the design whereas the white paper accentuates the freshness of the country feel of this paper.
