Handprinted Gift Wrap

A new batch of screen printed papers- all in blues- some on blue paper- this mornings job is to start on some in red/yellow colour-ways  to complement these.
Three screens are used to make this design but there are all sorts of combinations as soon as you use transparent and opaque inks to mix and match.

Grass Paper

 

Every year we have an amazing selection on grasses growing on our land. The shapes, sizes and colours give a variety of textures when combined on this paper. By overprinting layers the idea of a profusion of grasses is achieved without using the intricate shapes in each one.

This year I have printed onto three colours of paper- the green gives a softness to the design whereas the white paper accentuates the freshness of the country feel of this paper.
