The Square Pegs return to Newport.

Two years ago we launched  The Square Pegs at our first show Artery . This week we return, briefly, to the Chapel vestry (opposite the car park in long street) with a small group of makers. This smaller venue has good natural light and high airy ceilings showing off our work to good effect.

Elly Morgan, renowned for her 'map dogs' has brought ceramic sea creatures -fish, starfish and sea anemones while Fiona Wormald's beautiful silk scarves are all inspired by her garden flowers.
Yvette Browns  pewter birds (Small Brown Bird), depicted as having very human thoughts and desires are available as brooches and small sculptural pieces.

Albert, a remarkable yellow cupboard, is stationed below Glenn Ibbitson's paintings of local landscapes- amongst them can be found Carn Beca on the Preselis in the snow and Mwnt.

Zara  Kuchi is showing a collection of recent small paintings with a diverse range of subject matter all painted with her characteristic sensitivity.

My own books have a wide range of recycled and handprinted covers with assorted bindings and papers.
