Coptic Binding Workshop on July 28th at Cardigan Castle

Coptic Binding Workshop
Coptic bound books are constructed with decorative chain stitching across the spine and open flat when laid on a table. A little looser than a casebound book this allows for the addition of photographs or pictures to be added at a later date without stressing the spine.
We will be making an A5 hardback book (portrait orientation) containing around 160 writing or drawing surfaces of good quality cartridge with coloured or patterned dividers.
